THE SPIRAL AWAKENING

This Review is posted on Amazon

Reviewed in the United States on [5-9-25]

The SPIRAL Awakening is one of the most chilling and original horror novels I’ve read in years. From the first few pages, it pulls you into a fog-drenched forest where reality bends, time fractures, and something ancient stirs beneath the earth. What starts as a family hiking trip turns into a deeply unsettling descent into cosmic horror—and I couldn’t look away.

The writing is atmospheric and sharp, the characters feel real (especially Laura and her kids), and the Spiral itself… it’s terrifying precisely because you don’t fully understand it. It’s not a monster you can kill—it’s an idea, and once it’s in your head, it stays there.

This book reminded me of Annihilation meets The Thing, but with a voice and mythology all its own. If you love horror that’s more psychological, surreal, and slow-burning (but still punches you in the gut), this is for you.

Highly recommended—and good luck forgetting it.

SPIRAL GENESIS

This Review is currently posted on Amazon

If you’re a fan of deep, unsettling sci-fi horror like Annihilation, The Thing, or Event Horizon, SPIRAL Genesis belongs on your shelf.

This book absolutely nails atmosphere — every page drips with tension, decay, and that eerie sense of “something wrong just out of sight.” The writing is sharp and visual, never bogged down by over-description, and the pacing is relentless. Jake Morgan, the lead character, feels real — worn down but still fighting — and his journey through a corrupted wasteland haunted by the remnants of a failed alien experiment is both terrifying and tragic.

What really sets this novel apart is the concept of the Spiral itself — not just a monster, but a force that rewrites reality, memory, and biology. The horror builds slowly and methodically until it’s overwhelming. And by the end? You’re not sure if the main character has escaped or just become part of something worse.

My only wish? A bit more backstory for some of the side characters. But that’s a minor flaw in a story that kept me hooked start to finish.

Disturbing, imaginative, and absolutely unforgettable. Highly recommended.
